The Polar heart rate monitor transmitter is
the
"heart" of the heart rate monitor. The human heart generates an
electrical signal that is detected by the Polar heart rate transmitter and sent to the
Polar heart rate monitor receiver (wrist unit). There are two electrodes within the
Polar heart rate transmitter
that makes this possible.
The Polar heart rate transmitter utilizes a one-piece
design that encases all of the electrical components inside the unit.
